Mosaic is managed by our Program Director, our Program Manager, and our Program Assistants. Full staff for 2025-26 will be announced in late August.
Mosaic is a program run by the PS 20 PTA. The program is overseen by Mosaic Committee and the PTA Executive Board.
I am Jestina Eubanks and I’m the Program Director for Mosaic After School. Having been a part of the P.S. 20 community since the beginning of Mosaic, I am thrilled to be back and provide our students with even better programming. With a background in nonprofit management and public administration, I have worked with elected officials in the community and with childcare services offered by summer camps, after schools, and study abroad programs. My time spent serving with AmeriCorps revealed my love for programming and interacting with children and families. As an education leader and advocate, I believe that it takes a village to raise a child and learning goes beyond the classroom.
Being from the island of wood and water; Jamaica, I love traveling and live life by my favorite book, Oh, The Places You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss. Traveling to a new country each year helps me to appreciate one’s culture and brightens my outlook on life. Meister Eckhart said it best “And suddenly you know: It's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.” In other words, having the drive to step outside one’s comfort zones and think outside the box. As a risk taker, it’s starting something new and trusting in the process. Trust in the magic of Mosaic!
Hey y’all, I’m Marky! I'm excited to join the Mosaic team! Throughout my years in youth and community programming, I’ve served as a Camp Counselor, Head Counselor, Assistant Theater Director, After-School Counselor, and a 1-on-1 tutor. In my college years, I interned for a non-profit for 3 summers in South Dakota on the Cheyenne River Reservation. There, we provided summer camp, teen programs, and community meals. Following the pandemic, I was a Unit Leader for a summer camp in Inwood, and this summer I was an Arts & Crafts Specialist in Pomona, NY.
My commitment to younger generations and their families is strengthened by the various communities I have served. I’m proud to come from Texas where I first worked in summer camps. I served, listened, and learned from indigenous communities on their complex relationship and history with the United States. It’s a changing world, and I intend to guide the communities in which I live and serve into an equitable future where all children can learn and thrive.
Hi, I’m Victoria! I’ve been working with children for the past 9 years. I studied early childhood education at BMCC. I currently have my B.S. from Brooklyn College. Besides being a mother, working with children has been one of the most fulfilling things I’ve done. I hope to work with children for as long as I am able to. Something about being a part of a child’s day and helping them discover new things makes it all worthwhile. I am a part of the leadership team and I am ready to help staff grow and learn as I did with the P.S. 20 students! I hope to spread the love for education while sprinkling in some FUN!
I’m Edy Jean! I have been working with kids of all ages at afterschool/ summer programs since I was 16. According to Lady Bird Johnson, Former First Lady of the United States, “Children are likely to live up to what you believe of them.” I always wanted the world to be a better place and to see that happen, you have to show the younger generations the correct path. I am thrilled to be a part of the PS. 20 family this year as a seasoned supervisor, looking forward to mentoring new staff!
Hi, my name is Ms. Laura!. When I was a child, I dreamt of the same things every child has dreamed of, one of which was leading the world. As a young adult, I’m able to turn that dream into a reality thanks to Mosaic because leading a child is leading the future. This will be my 4th year working here, and now I am an Assistant Manager. I’m beyond excited to put my skills to use. Working with children in my past jobs gave me the chance to transform lives, and I know that this position will too. I absolutely love children and I’m truly looking forward to making a good difference in their lives.
Hi I'm Javon. I've worked with kids for a while now. This is my fourth year working with Mosaic, I'm excited to return and work with the kids, staff, interns and volunteers. I'll make sure to make this experience worth remembering.
Hi, I’m Amiya! I'm ecstatic to re-join Mosaic this academic year! My first job was working with children, and ever since then I've loved getting to see them grow and form relationships with them that will last a lifetime. I've learned a lot from working with children, and I can't wait to see what else I discover in the future!

Hello P.S. 20! My name is Keiara Smith. I have been working with kids for a while and love teaching them new and exciting activities. I am really happy to work with children that are energized and exhilarated because they keep me active. I am a junior at St. Francis College studying Biology. In my free time, I love taking mini road trips with my parents to different states. I have been welcomed with open arms here, I'm so grateful to be a part of P.S. 20.
