Spring 2026 Registration Letter

Season’s Greetings P.S. 20 families!

Can you believe how quickly time is flying by? The holiday season is already upon us! We hate to see Fall come to an end, but are excited about our plans for this Winter/Spring. As we gear up for the holiday cheers, let's also prepare for spring registration. To get the latest information on updates via Mosaic website, or email mosaic@ps20.org with any questions.

The Mosaic afterschool program will be offered to grades Pre-K - 5th beginning Monday Jan 5th. The program will run from 2:40 PM - 6 PM on school days, following the DOE calendar. (Although we do not operate at the school on DOE holidays, there are certain holidays for which we offer an offsite camp.) For now, here is some information regarding Spring 2026 registration:

Registration launch date is Wednesday, December 17th, at noon. Make sure to create or update your user profile on Sawyer, our registration platform, if you haven't done so already. (If you have outstanding credit from Fall 2025, it should be in your account as a gift balance to be used at checkout.) 

Please visit the Mosaic website to get an idea what our spring schedule looks like (as always, the schedule is subject to change).

Below is our daily routine:

• 2:40–4pm – Pick up/Snack/ Homework assistance 

• 4–5pm – Enrichment activities 

• 5–6pm – Free play & Dismissal

Scholarships:

The scholarship application for Spring 2026 school semester is now available (please feel free to reach out to Mosaic if you have any questions/concerns). Applications are due for the 1st round of consideration by December 12th and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. If you are notified that you qualify for a scholarship, you will have one week to submit a full application. Mosaic cannot guarantee spots if you do not apply within this timeframe. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, if a spot is available, you will receive an award letter. Scholarships are on a rolling basis, if a slot becomes available, you will be notified depending on your timeslot.

Pricing: Mosaic will continue to use the new tiered tuition system implemented Fall 2021! We have instituted this system in an effort to better serve the entire PS 20 community, while also continuing to raise much-needed funds for the school. Tiered pricing ranges from $31/day to $0/day. We will continue to have discounts for families who sign up for multiple days.

Safety:

Mosaic programs will follow current NYC Department of Education and NYS Department of Health guidelines on public health safety protocols.
